|Description:||Are you an experienced Marketing Director seeking an opportunity to execute US Strategy for a global leader? VTech is seeking a Marketing Director to join our leadership team. This dynamic opportunity will allow a Marketing Director who joins our team to develop, drive and direct marking efforts for VTech Toys. Responsibilities will include managing marketing communications, agency relationships, budget management, team building and strategic planning while working closely with Hong Kong Headquarters and US Senior Leadership Team in an entrepreneurial, performance based type of environment. |
|Duties:||Under the direction of Hong Kong Headquarters and Senior Leadership Team, our Marketing Director will:|
Develops and drives overall brand strategy and brand positioning across marketing and marketing communication in support of all business objectives.
Defines, articulates, and executes a fully integrated marketing program for VTechs brand including; advertising, branding, packaging, promotions, PR, retail programs, digital marketing, merchandising, and media initiatives.
Manages successful relationships, with internal departments and external partners (colleagues overseas, media, agencies, etc).
Collaborates on budget/prioritization of the marketing spending.
Plans, prepares, and delivers presentations at trade shows and industry events.
Creates a high performance marketing organization by developing and mentoring a cross functional team of Graphics, Consumer Services and Marketing Research functions.
Oversees compilation and analysis of market research information regarding consumers, products, competitors and market trends. Ensures that market research program meets present and future business needs.
Oversees packaging initiatives and ongoing Graphics activities to ensure that product packaging designs meet brand recognition needs.
|Qualifications:|| Minimum of 8 years of progressive traditional marketing experience in consumer products industry working with mass retailers (ei. Wal-Mart, Target, etc.).|
Bachelors degree in Marketing; MBA strongly preferred.
Well developed verbal, written, management and facilitation skills.
Collaborative, versatile, candid communicator, good listener with sensitivity to multiple styles and perspectives, who is able to build and foster strong relationships with diverse constituencies.
Creative and innovative in seeing new opportunities and open to constructive feedback from the Senior Leadership Team and Asian Partners.
Hands on leader with a proven ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast paced, high demand, performance driven environment.
International and domestic travel will be required (3+ international trips per year).
